Bed fits good with our decor
The item arrived when it was supposed to. Arrived in good condition with all parts needed. Two of us put the frame together in about 30 or so minutes. The only drawback is that our mattress seems to be a bit shorter than the bed and slides a bit. Recommend this bed.

This bed was much better quality than expected for the price. Very strong and sturdy...seems to be built to last! The color does look much closer to black rather than bronze depending on the lighting. My only other complaint would be the tools they send to assemble with are completely useless, but if you own a wrench it will be a breeze!

Great quality bed
Agree with others that the finish is matte and very, very dark brown, almost. Not exactly antique bronze, but matches well with other antique bronze finishes in the room. I put it together by myself in about an hour. Directions were missing from the box, but Great Offer Stock was able to email me the pdf. Securing some bolts took Herculean strength, though.

This bed is exactly as pictured. You would probably notice it is slightly dark bronze only if you dress it with black blankets. I have it in a grey room with grey and black accent pillows and a white quilt. It comes off as more black than brown to me. I would not hesitate to purchase this bed. We could not be happier with it.

I don't have a lot of natural light in my room, so that probably affects the color, but I would say it is close to black. I had the same concern as you before I purchased it, because I wanted it to go with a black armoire. It looks beautiful with my black armoire. It doesn't clash with the color. If you look very closely at the finish you can see extremely fine speckles of bronze, but it is not apparent from a couple feet away.

No supports under the bed beyond the four corners. You should be all set to put your underbed storage underneath this bed. Make sure you have a good quality socket or wrench of your own to help with assembly.

Check the diagram and the legs under the bed are only on the outside supports. If you put your 48 inch container width wise there is easily 39 inches between the inner support legs.
