Lamp looks off the balance, shade was too small, we bought a new shade for it

I'm deducting one star because the outlet cord is bright orange! ew! Why put such a hideous cord on a beautiful lamp like this, I don't know. It arrived perfectly packed and it looks lovely though.

This is a beautiful, expensive looking, wonderful lamp. I have it on a glass table in my front hall - and does it ever dress-up the entry way. I get compliments on it all the time. I wish I had a place for a second matching lamp.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this lamp, especially the lamp shade. I also appreciated the quality of the other materials. And, finally I truly appreciated the fact that this lamp did not wobble on it's base. So frequently these days there is a cost cutting short cut in workmanship or materials and it was a happy surprise that this was made properly...Hooray!
