Pretty maybe? Can't put it together I loved the look of this chandelier, but after an hour of messing with the parts, gave up and returned it. No matter what I did - removed parts, loosened the screw to give more length, I couldn't Get the center rod long enough to secure it to the globe and attach to the chain. Three of the 4 screws would fit in the globe, but I couldn't get the final one secured to the globe would fit together properly. Perhaps if we had 2 people- one to sit on or squeeze the metal cages together while the other used the screwdriver it may have worked, but the center piece still wouldn't fit. The directions are poorly written and require a magnifying glass to decipher. So sad- I was so excited about this light. Very disappointed.

Beautiful, but you need some patience This was VERY difficult to put together, as the other reviewers mentioned. But we were ready for a long and difficult process. It took about 50 minutes to put together. The most irritating part for my boyfriend was putting the crystals on. So that became my job, as I have long nails. I love the detail of the one crystal hanging down under the chandelier. I would pay special attention to the orientation of where the orb comes together, as it's not really adjustable once installed. This was the perfect size for my small dinning room which is approximately 12x13'

Impossible to assemble! As a previous reviewer noted (although I stupidly ignored, thinking that I was smarter than the average Joe), this is impossible to assemble. I've assemble many chandeliers. The metal orb was crooked and could not be forced into position - even with two people using all of their strength. I still haven't found a chandelier I like as well (it's really beautiful in person), but it just could not be assembled. :(

Decent light I ordered the 16 in and it's smaller than I had expected. Works for a small apartment space, otherwise, I would order the 24 inch one. Looks pricy but quality is definitely not great but can't really tell just by looking.

Incredible, but complicated I can't tell you how beautiful this is over the internet because it's way more amazing in person. That said, it comes in about eighty or more pieces, but it's so worth spending a day putting this beautiful thing together. Some tips, the very first A to B connection will only screw together if you thread the wires thru & trust me even though the shaft hole looks to small, it threads. The instructions are worthless in their direction, but just follow the picture exactly using the parts in the picture. I too had a heck of a time fitting the sphere together, it seems to me that one of the sliding side fits ( it only goes one way), has been machined slightly longer than it should be. One side of the sphere goes in great, but then it's very difficult on the other side. There are tiny screws to connect the two halves of the sphere. There is also a tiny pointed fineal/short rod/ round connector that drops thru the bottom machined hole of the sphere, you will have to decide at the end of the project whether you want the pointed side down or not. I did cut out the entire chain because it hung down to low for my nine foot ceiling. I bought a "U" shaped connector for attaching from the chandelier to the center of the metal cork like large canopy screw. Maybe make sure all wires are threaded properly thru the chandelier & up thru the canopy, in order to make your life simpler. If you use a ceiling medallion, use a saws-all to cut out the middle of it so that the chandelier canopy will fit up & over the down rod which connects to the mounting bracket that comes with this chandelier. I went all the way to the end only to realize that the wires were made to thread completely up thru the down rod & up & over the mounting bracket in order to be connected to your existing wiring. The chandelier comes with one brown splittable wire. One side has tiny ridges in it, while the other is smooth. The wire w the tiny ridges is the neutral wire, while the smooth wire is the hot wire. The ground wire just screws to the green screw on the new mounting bracket, that will need to be pre mounted to your electrical box before you begin this project. Lastly, I had trouble at the end of the project screwing the large canopy lock nut to the down rod on the mounting bracket because of the wires getting into my way, so I drilled a hole next to the canopy hole & pulled the wires thru it . Make sure the electricity is shut off, and good luck, this thing is stunning, but I am exhausted!! This is a 16' round sphere, bronze in in color, and comes w many crystals packaged together. Be careful unpacking it, and mimick the picture contained in the instructions, they are nearly unusable. I honestly feel all the hard work was worth all the trouble putting this together, but be prepared to set aside one day to do this project & definitely think about buying a medium sized adjustable U ring, it will make your project easier.
