"What is the dimensions of the bottom futon when its folded out?"
The assembly will be a fun family experience. Its not to bad if you follow instructions step by step. IF i could go back i would want to measure my room. The top bonk was nearly into my ceiling. To fix this we cut 5 inches off each leg and then i just bought the thickest futon matress. it worked and not bad for the price.

Good quality. Went together well. Took a little longer to put together. After all said and done I'm very pleased with my purchase. My grandchildren enjoys sleeping and sitting on the futon. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs xtra sleeping arrangements for guests.
