This pad holds the floor well but doesn't even slow down the movement of the rug. It is irritating to rearrange it 3 or more times per day. What's the point of that? It is a good pad for cushioning the rug, making it more comfortable. If that's what you want, buy this.

This pad adds a bit of luxury to the rug. It lifts it and makes the rug look more expensive. However it arrived folded I tear of rolled, and I had to put weights on it to get it to Kay flat. Now my rug looks lovely.

I put this pad underneath a very thin rug. It provides good cushion (on my tile floors) and keeps the rug in place. My only regret is that the pad is about 5" shorter than the rug, and you can really see it taper off. Highly recommend.

This is a good purchase if you are putting a throw rug on a solid surface flood, it'll hold it in place.

High quality, this is the best felt pad i have ever purchased. I ordered more to replace others that were really not doing the job I had purchased elsewhere.

I read the other reviews and was worried about slippage, but I have had none! I have this under a runner, on tile, in my bathroom and it stays in place beautifully!!

Rug still slips off this when my dog runs by. Not sure if any pad could help this

Stays put. Does what it's supposed to. It's much better than the thin mesh type pads I've used before.

This is a good, thick pad. It stays put on the floor. The rug stays put fairly well on top...but it does shift just a bit. I would buy it again, however. Probably the shifting is normal...I have nothing to compare it to.

In the past, I choose the less expensive pads.don't make the same mistake. This is definitely worth the slightly higher price. It keeps the rug in place while adding extra padding for comfort. Especially appreciated in the kitchen!

brought two of these rug pad to go under two rug runners for our kitchen. We have tile floors and needed thick pads under the rugs.. they are thick and larger than 2x8 ft, had to cut them to fit the rug runners .. BUT.. the rug runners slide off the pads, no matter which side you put them to... so had to sew them together in a few places.. which helped.. BUT.. then the pads slide on the tile floor every time you walk on them.. we are forever pulling them back in place. Am sorry i spent the money

I was skeptical because I have a dog who makes it his mission to move every rug in the house, but this rug pad gives him a real challenge. Really stays put as advertised!
