This lamp is nice and very attractive. But it is not Chrome. The finish of the legs is sort of like a brushed nickel or brushed stainless steel. As the title states, I thought I was getting a lamp with a polished finish, which was what I was specifically looking for. So needless to say, I was very disappointed and this item is going back. The picture on display here on greatofferstock.com appears to have the appearance of shiny chrome. I wish that over stock.com would change the description to be more accurate. I called and complained and said I was returning this item and strongly suggested that they changed the description of this lamp. I see that they have not done so, so hopefully people who read my review will know the specifics on this item in case it matters, like it in did with me..

easy to assemble. purchased this in ivory for my bedroom, though it offers a clean, modern look for any room. definitely agree that it's a brushed nickel finish, and not chrome, but it's what I was looking for so it worked out perfectly. saw a similar model at **** *** for 3x the price.

This was the perfect floor lamp for my living room. The style was beautiful. The three legs makes it an art piece as well. This lamp gives great light and fits well in an modern setting. Couldn't be happier with it.

I was initially excited for this lamp but it looks and feels very cheap in person. It is not very sturdy and the lamp shade is very light and difficult to adjust.
