Nice table! Great price! Great chair with small footprint. Low back means they do not "dominate" the room. Chair in front of window does not block window. Easy to assemble. Swivel into group setting, or swivel towards big screen TV on wall.

Beautiful! Nicely done, too. I ordered a pair of these chairs. The "assembly" is simply bolting the swivel base onto the bottom of the chair with the hex key provided. Easy peasy. They fit my small living room quite nicely and are very comfortable. If you're wondering about size, I'm 5'5" and they are a perfect fit for me. Seat height is perfect, the seat cushion is firm and back support is very nice. One thing to be prepared for - the "skirt" part arrives creased - even crumpled. I used my garment steamer to encourage the creases to depart while I still had the chairs upside down for attaching the swivel bases. We'll see if in time they relax more. One could use a steam iron for the job if the slip covers were removed, however.

Perfect Fit UPDATE: Still love the chair. However, my husband sat in one and now it leans toward the front. When we looked underneath we saw that it had actually compressed under his weight. Also next to the other one It appears to be leaning down in the front. It is still useable but not quite as comfortable as it was. I would strongly advise that no one over 200 pounds sit in this chair. I had an area in front of a bay window where I needed two small chairs. These fit the bill perfectly. The teal-ish color picks up the blue grays in the rug. The bay where they sit is not carpeted. They sit on the hardwood floor at the edge of the rug so they swivel very smoothly. THey are not expensive fine furniture. I don't expect them to last forever. The back is very low. If you are tall you may not find them comfortable for extended sitting. I am short and weigh about 150 and I find them very comfy. My husband 5'8 and nearly 300 pounds finds them very comfortable for sitting but again not for an extended period as the back is too low. Likewise our teenage son who is 5"10 says they are comfortable but eventually the low back gets to him also. The fabric feels delicious also. Assembly was so easy. Just use the enclosed allen wrench to install the swivel. I put a small table between them and we use the area for afternoon tea or chess or board games. They are NOT our primary seating for everyday. I got them more for the look. Perhaps we will replace them later with the same style in leather. For now they are absolutely perfect. Again, not fine furniture but certainly well constructed and looks more expensive than it costs.

Great soft chair! This baby rocks! It's more blue than teal and fits in great w the natural colors of my room. I love it. It says in the instructions that it takes a half hour to put together. It only took me about five minutes. Easy peazy!

I would call it velveteen . . . if you're familiar with the types of fabric, this one is a lower-profile which doesn't crush, leaving an impression from sitting on it. Velvet, on the other hand, is not really suitable for upholstery. (The chairs are gorgeous, by the way, the color in the photo is true - at least as it appears on my monitor-and appear to be very well constructed.)

"What is the opening on the back? Is that Velcro and what is the purpose?"

Very good question! That placket on the back conceals a metal zipper. In other words, the "upholstery" is actually a very well-made slip cover, with the seat cushion having it's own. If and when the chair is in need of dry-cleaning, just unzip the cover and pull it off and send it off to the pros, keeping the black fabric-covered chair in service while you wait. The instructions that come with the chair (mostly for attaching the swivel base) also include how the cover comes off. One other thing - you'll probably find you need to take it off right away to give the skirt a light pressing with a steam iron. That gets a bit wrinkled in packing but is easily cured.

I've had my eye on this chair for a few weeks at another online site where the price (with time-limited free shipping) was $129 more - EACH. WOW! The small size is important because the pair are going into a small living room. I'm not certain that the color will be right - time will tell - but the slipcover can be recreated in another shade if it bugs me, maybe even be a do-it-myself project.
