"Are the back of the curtains white or the same color as the front of the curtains."
They're pretty and keep the sun out wonderfully . I'm always surprised at how bright it is outside when I push the curtains back in the morning

Heavier and darker than expected I Do like these curtains. They are a little darker (grey) than I'd hoped and quite heavy. Perhaps that's what is to be expected of a blackout / insulated curtain. I have the up but would not l buy them again.

Great Curtains Nice simple curtain. Does a great job blocking light, unlike the "blackout" curtains I got at the big chain store. I've had to wash a couple times and they've come out great. We've had them up for about four years now, and they've faded a bit on the window side from the sun beating in on them, but that hasn't bothered me.

Q:
-
A:
the backs are the same color as the front.
-
-
Q:
"Is a picture of the color purple available? I don't see it."
-
A:
Look at the 84 in blackouts in Eggplant. The color is a deep purple.
-
A:
I didn't see a purple color. The one that is shown is Navy Blue. I am satisfied with all of my curtains.
-
-
Q:
"The details say "Set of 2" but the specs say "Set Include 1 piece". So if I add qty 1 to my cart, am I getting one 52"x63" curtain? or two 52"x63" curtains? or two 26"x63" curtains?"
-
A:
If you select a quantity of 1 you will receive two curtain panels each measuring 63 inches long x 52 inches wide
-
A:
There were 2 panels in each package that I received.
-
-
Q:
"How deep is the rod pocket?"
-
A:
The rod pocket is a good size.
-
A:
Hi, From the top seam to the bottom seam is 3", which will hold a 1 3/8" rod.
-
A:
It is 2 3/4".
-
A:
I used a 2.5 inch wide rod with it.
-
A:
three inches.
-
A:
the pocket is 3"
-
A:
That's misleading, they are not actually a "rod pocket", they have "tabs" on the back, so they don't actually show. You should have plenty of room for any rod. I like them, easy to put up.
-
A:
The rod pocket is 3"
-
A:
The rod pocket is 3"
-
A:
About 2" - 2 1/2" I think
-
A:
I cancelled this order before receiving it.
-
-
Q:
"Do they come in 42 and 62 inch wide panels."
-
A:
These panels measure approximately 63 inches long x 52 inches wide and are not currently available in a wider size.
-
-
Q:
"Are these lined? White on the back?"
-
A:
No, they are not lined; however, the material is thick so to keep out the sun, heat & the cold. Very attractive curtains & well worth the price! Easy to unwrinkled, just spray with water & put in dryer. Material is very easy to iron too!
-
-
Q:
"How deep is the pocket?"
-
A:
Top and bottom pockets are 3-inches on the ones I purchased.
-
A:
It's not a continuous pocket ther are tabs about 3–3.5 inches
-
A:
I have nothing to add. I think the question has been answered. These are called "grommet" style draperies and slide onto a rod.
-
A:
I checked and the pockets for 3 inches deep all the way across these are not grommet curtains. I have been very happy with them
-
-
Q:
"Will these work with a traverse rod?"
-
A:
They are not pleated for the pins, but there is an individual rod pocket spaced about 6 inches apart. If you can makeshift the proper engineering you could use the traverse rod.
-
A:
I don't think so. They are meant to go on a rounded rod about 1 inch thick.
-
A:
These blackout curtains are great. They do have a pocket for a regular rod that slips through the top. I believe traverse rods have hooks and I don't think that'll work.
-
A:
Sure they can. There are pleats and you may have to tweak a little. Worth buying and doing it in my opinion. I love mine. I have 4 sets.
-
-
Q:
"is one panel 52 inches or is 2 panels 52 inches?"
-
A:
Each panel is 2 inched wide.
-
A:
it comes 2 panels at 53 inches They look so nice up worth the money
-

One panel is

Q:
"Looking for a dark pink. Anyone have the Bubblegum Pink or the Wine color? I want something vibrant and cheerful for my daughter's room, dark enough to block out light. The photo of Bubblegum Pink looks like it could either be a cute color or a tacky color. Looking for opinions from those who have seen them in real life. Thanks!"
-
A:
I have the wind color in my daughter's room. Keeps out light but not lined. Hope this helps.😊

-
Q:
"How successful are these curtains in reducing road noise?"
-
A:
Hi Tracy, I honestly haven't noticed any difference with the noise. The blackout feature is great though!
-
A:
I didn't get them for noise but definitely works for blocking light
-
A:
We live in the country, so road noise is not an issue. I can tell you that they are just lovely in my living room.
-
A:
They block light not sure about noise
-
A:
Hi they are nice looking curtains but honestly don't keep the light or noise out very good. Hope this helps :)
-
A:
My curtains definitely helped. There is no draft in cold weather and they also help keep the house cool on hot days. I live in a relatively small apartment and definitely noticed a difference as far as temperature is concerned.
-
A:
I love these curtains, but not very successful for reducing road noise. That wasn't one of the requirements I had when purchasing these. I hope this helps.
-
A:
Doesnt reduce noise but definitely keep light out.
-
A:
Petfect!!!!!
-
A:
They helped some. They are faantasric at reducing heat through the window.
-
-
Q:
"Is there a curtain wand? How do you open and close?"
-
A:
No wand. You manually slide drapes open and close.
-
A:
No curtain wand. I just pull on the curtain to open it.
-
A:
No wand, we just push open or closed as needed at arm level.
-
A:
No you would just pull, they are DARK olive green.
-
A:
There is no curtain want. I use tiebacks to separate the panels and allow light to come in
-
-
Q:
"What color is the lining, white or same color as panel?"
-
A:
Mine are the same color as the curtain and they work awesome!! Love them!
-
A:
The lining is the same color as the curtains .
-
A:
It is the same color as the panel. I bought these in navy and olive for separate rooms, and the is the case for both.
-
A:
Same color as front panel
-
A:
same color as panel
-
A:
Same color and I was very pleased at the quality.
-
A:
The lining is the same color as the panel. Very nice, shields sunlight and heat.
-
-
Q:
"I am really confused about the width.. I get that it is 63 inches in length but the width of a pair is it combined 52 inches or is each of the panel 52 inches?"
-
A:
Each panel is 52 inches wide.
-
A:
Every set comes with 2 panels...each panel is 52 inches. I hope that helps
-
A:
With the two panels together you end up with a 104 inchs, which is sufficient for a bedroom window that is 72 inches wide. A normal window width is 36 inches not counting the trim around the window. I have the blue hanging in the master bedroom. They hang beautifully.
-
A:
Correct, EACH panel is 52" wide.
-
A:
The width is 52in each panel
-
A:
Each panel is 52 inches
-
A:
each panel is 52"

52 inches wide each curtain

Yes, they are each 52" wide.
-
-
Q:
"Is each panel 52" wide?"
-
A:
They are 52" long
-
A:
no, the whole thing covers a 52" wide window
-
A:
Yes, each panel is 52" wide on the 5 pair that I got several months ago.
-
A:
each panel. I am so satisfied with these curtains. Can't wait for them to come out in print instead of solids.
-
-
Q:
"What is the difference between these solid ones and the home star aurora cuetains? Do these block sounds just as well as the home star ones?"
-
A:
Solid is great. We have them in all bedrooms. Don't know difference
-
A:
Good blackout for light. We live in rural area so not sure about blocking sound.
-
A:
they block noise but dont have the other ones so dont know how to compare
-
A:
I have both types. Unless I am mistaken, they are the exact same curtains.
-
A:
They do muffle some sound. I have these solid curtains throughout the house. I bought them to block intense heat and cold, which is what insulated curtains are made for.
-
-
Q:
"I am looking for curtains to cover a whiteboard (when not in use) in an office. The whiteboard is 8' long (horizontal) by 4' high (vertical). Should be enough room on the curtain rod to push the curtain to each side without covering the white board (when in use). Grommets are preferred. Dark out is required. Please advise what you may have."
-
A:
I can speak to the room darkening effect of this drape. The fabric is very nice and thick along with the room darkening lining. We are extremely happy as they even block some noise.
-
A:
Yes, these should work well for what your asking- to cover the 8' width comfortably & easily I would recommend 2 sets. You could easily add Velcro tabs between the panels (they have self adhesive Velcro for material/clothes)- that would hold them together where & when you don't want them to separate. Plus these come in every color to go with your decor.
-
A:
I have the Navy and mine would do what you are asking.
-
A:
I purchased these for bedroom windows, living room windows and a front bay window. I love them! They block the sunlight and winter wind chills on my windows. I weatherized my windows, but this has added additional blockage. These would definitely work for what you need them for. I highly recommend them.
-
A:
Buy these. They have to be ironed, but they insulate against weather and noise,
-
A:
these curtains are wonderful for blackout, I bought panels for my living room and spare bedroom. the weight of the material and the feel of them are wonderful. they hang very nicely
-
A:
If you have wide enough rod, yes; it should work.
-
A:
Each of the panels is 63 inches long and 52 inches wide, so the total cover area would be 63 inches high by 104 inches wide. You should have the coverage you want/need.
-
A:
Yes, these would work well. I would recommend the Barricade Adjustable Energy Saving Wraparound Curtain Rod which would allow you to push the curtains to the side and not obstruct the board.
-
A:
I love them. They block out the light well. Blocks out the cold and keeps the room warm. I love them that the come in 72" so they don't block the baseboard heat in the winter.
-
-
Q:
"Is each panel 63 inches long x 52 inches wide? or are both panels together equal to 52 inches?"
-
A:
They are both the same length but together I believe they make the 52" wide.
-
A:
Each panel is 52 inches wide. These are really nice, well made curtains.
-
A:
Yes, each panel is 52 inches wide by 63.
-
A:
Yes. Each panel is 63x52. Appar to be made well and do black out a room.
-
A:
Great drapes good value great quality luv luv
-
A:
Each panel is 52" wide.
-
A:
each panel is 63 inches long and 52 inches wide, I measured it.
-
A:
Yes, love them they truly block out the light.
-
A:
Each panel is 52 inches wide.
-
-
Q:
"Do they come with the rod? If not, what rod(s) goes with them?"
-
A:
The rod in the picture is what we are using and I believe any rod would work. Curtains have a pocket on back that slides through rod.
-
A:
They do not come with the rod. I agree with Jennifer K. Almost any rod will work.
-
A:
Yes a rod of thin to medium-thick will work with the curtain easily sliding. I just got a standard one at ***** and it works great.
-
-
Q:
"Will it keep the cold out?"
-
A:
Not sure about the cold but it definitely keeps the heat out.
-
A:
Not really sure. I live in Hawaii and bought them just for blocking light. Sorry.
-
A:
Although they are not lined, they are a fairly thick silky fabric, and they do aid in keeping out the cold. I hung them in a back bedroom over mini-blinds. The temperature in the room has been one degree warmer in the winter since I have put them up. Also, I don't feel drafts around the window like I did before. I hope this helps.
-
A:
Yes, it does help to keep the cold & draft out. I bought it to keep out the cold & excess light. Nice polyester material, relatively thick, smooth, hangs well, & is machine washable, so very low maintenance. I also bought the same brand curtains with antique bronze grommet tops & tulle sheer (the mix & match curtains). The grommet tops allow the curtains to wrap around the sides of the windows to block out draft. The sheer adds elegance.
-
A:
It does keep out the cold or keeps the heat in. Wonderful purchase and I am going to order more.
-
A:
Yes- they are heavy enough to keep the cold out. I moved from Florida to NC , so I was looking for some insulation too.
-
A:
It does keep the drafts out!
-
A:
Yes it does help keep the cold out. I have these hanging in my spare bedroom and when it is really cold out in the winter I keep them closed in the day to help insulate the room.
-
A:
They help us ~ we have single paned windows and double paned windows. ( However, I don't know how cold it gets where you live, nor how strong of winds you get, nor what type of windows you may have.)
-
A:
I have a friend that I gave a set of curtains to and it keeps the heat out and blocks the sun. And it does help keep the cool air back some depending on the length of your curtains.
-
A:
It does help to keep the room cooler from the heat. the material is substantial and would help with cold also. I am in Florida so don't get a lot of that but the material is good and sturdy so I would think so. I love these..
-
A:
Yes they do a good job keeping the cold out!
-
A:
I feel they do
-
A:
I have these curtains in the two coldest rooms in my house and it does help with blocking the cold air from circulating throughout the rooms.
-
A:
Yes. They are thick and make a big difference for keeping cold out when they are closed.
-
A:
Yes, the curtains keep the cold out. They are a little heavy so I had to purchase stonger rods to hold them up.
-
A:
Yes, it does. We placed it in our living room and it does a good job of insulating
-
A:
We do think it helps alot with keeping cold out!
-
A:
It will help, try are heavy material, however they are not rubber backed and I do no like the rubber backed because usually the rubber comes off when you wash the drapes. These are quality drapes at a reasonable prices.
-
A:
Yes, they cut down on cold drafts!
