We couldn't be more thrilled with this rug! It's absolutely beautiful. However, the guys at Great Offer Stock made a mistake when naming this rug on the website. The rug is actually an Artistic Weavers rug named Equinox (says so on the back of the rug), not Surya Solano as stated by Great Offer Stock. I googled this name and found the same rug for sale at Home Depot for $319, compared to the $185 price at Overstock! What a steal!!
Overall I am very happy with this rug. For what it is (not a hand loomed rug, like I really wanted, but didn't want to break the bank to acquire.) The quality is excellent!! The binding is strong and looks good, it is soft to the touch, sized right and the price was amazing. Even on sale at ***"*, Great Offer Stock had a better price and it came shipped directly to my house so I didn't have to haul it. It does come with some folds in it as others have said. I rolled it out and placed heavy books and or furniture on the folds for the first two days. They came out fine. The 8X11 size is very nice, my dining room table and 8 chairs fit on it with room to pull the chairs out and not hit the wood floor. The only complaint I have is it is very yellow/gold. I thought it would be more of a tan/khaki color. It took me a couple of days to figure out how to tone it down and make it not look so yellow against my grey/green walls and across the hall from my copper penny colored study. I added a few amber accessories and it looks fabulous! Colors: Base color is very gold/yellow, but there is blue, khaki green, cream, a lot of the lovely copper, and even a hint of black. Overall; high quality rug, great colors, wonderful quick home delivery, and something I would highly recommend to friends!
Color is beautiful. Very firm pouf. A little on the small size. stitching is shoddy. It's rather 'crooked' so you have to spend some time trying to straighten out the stitching so the whole pouf doesn't look crooked. On sale this isn't too bad at all but I wouldn't be it full price.
I originally purchased the 8 X 11 area rug while it was on sale, even though I had trepidation about ordering online - sometimes it's challenging to judge colors accurately from a photo onscreen. However, Great Offer Stock delivered extremely quickly, the rug was in pristine condition, and it wound up being more beautiful than I expected, and of a higher quality than I'd dared to hope. So I hopped right back online to get the matching runner. Even though the two pieces were ordered separately, there is no problem of mis-matched coloration; they look like they came off the same loom, the same day. I'm very happy with these purchases, and would buy from Great Offer Stock again without qualms.
