It's a good product for the money. The only complaint is that the sides of the blinds stick out at the top and the piece they give you to cover it up, doesnt mount correctly.

Great look, even better price! These are great, the blinds look like they are much higher quality than you'd expect for the low price. They only filter light - I lined mine following DIY guidance I found on pinterest. I am very happy with my purchase. My windows were 39.5" and the 39" blinds fit EXACTLY, there was no room for the hanging hardware, so I (like other reviewers) just screwed the top of the blind directly to the top of the window. you can't tell and it doesn't affect the functionality of the blinds.

Great Shade Better Price I should have bought these shades years ago. My wife kept buying thoes paper shade that she would trow out when they needed cleaning. I would have saved plenty of cash had we bought these shades first. The only thing that must be said is that these shades are transparent. If you want to have total privacy you must install a pull down shade under, or install material to the underside.

bamboo roman shade i purchased 2 of these for a couple of small window on the sunrise side of my house. we hung them above the window. they look great. funky and very natural. they filter the morning light in a very soft and pretty way. saw these on other websites for 4 to 5 times the price of these. another great Great Offer Stock buy.

Very classy looking. We did the inside mount and they look great. The header sits flush with the wall and then blinds also go up and down easily. You can see some light through which was what we were looking for. Not for total privacy but will cut the sun at needed times of day for us.

So pretty & coastal! Love these! I should of ordered ones an inch smaller but they still work! Mine are mostly for looks but they will still work great if we need privacy. I like the light that shines through but if you want total darkness these are not what you want.

They are not privacy, so they will allow a lot of light into the room. You may want to consider something more closed like a slatted blind or a cell shade.

These shades are very easy to hang. There is a bracket on either side that screws into the inside of the window frame/sill then you attach the shade with a wingnut. No grommets.

No. There is mounting hardware that screws into the window frame. I was hoping for the way you described but actually this mounting design puts it flush up against the top of the window frame and it doesn't hang down. Fits in there nice and tight. Looks good.

I wouldn't advise cutting them down. I have these throughout my house and I love them. When I purchased them my contractor said they would be difficult to cut because they wouldn't look right. You would have to cut off from both sides to make it look even. Try a shorter one and see if that works. They tend to be true to size and a little shorter might work.

We generally recommend that you select one that is about ½” smaller than the opening to allow adequate room for mounting hardware and clearance of the window frame.
