I am a designer and I bought 6 of these for my parents dining room. They are beautiful! The fabric is a soft, expensive looking and feeling velvet. The color is a cross between an apple and sage green. The color is very rich looking and the chairs look and sit like very expensive chairs. However, they are relatively light weight which makes them easy for my parents to move around and get in and out of.

Green velvet dining chairs Bought two of these chairs in the olive green - beautiful color and yummy velvet material, color is pretty exact - an olive green that easily wipes clean any marks from sitting there. Very comfortable cushions. As with most Great Offer Stock chairs, it's not an exact science putting them together. Highly recommend an electric screwdriver with a bit for hexagonal bolt. Had to rip through the fabric as there weren't any pre-made holes to screw in the legs. But the outcome - beautiful! Ordering two more!

Great buy! I ordered two sets of chairs and they arrived in 8 days (which I thought was very quick) and I was thrilled when I unboxed them. I would consider them more sage than olive in color. The fabric is plush and they look very expensive. The wood legs match exactly to the cherry finish table we are using them with. I love the rolled back, it gives the chair great character. I feel these are a excellent addition to my dining room.

Definitely Sage I bought these chairs for my dining room table, which we use everyday. I have a 4 year old and a 7 year old and the fabric cleans up very nicely. My little one got BBQ sauce on the chair and wiping it up with a damp sponge did the trick. Also, found a couple days old of syrup on the chair and a little warm water and mild soap, cleaned it right up. Very comfortable. We didn't have any issues putting the chairs together.

Love the shape, color, seat is a little firm I fell in love with these chairs, so I broke my rule not to buy any furniture without sitting on it first. I will say they are beautiful--nice quality, very easy to put together (but I had a neighbor with an electric drill help me tighten the screws.) The legs are a light cherry--but match my antique oak table well. They are less red--more brown. My only complaint is that the seat is a bit firm--but some people like that. I don't use my dining room every day, so they will be fine, but I thought you should know.

I will confirm that the chairs we rec'd did indeed have a musty odor to them. Not overwhelming, but there. We didn't concern ourselves with the smell, we misted them very lightly with Febreze, and in a couple weeks the smell had dissipated. We actually thought it was the packaging that harbored the smell. The smell mostly left with the packing. I love, love, love the chairs and I don't regret buying them, not for 1 second!
