I love this bookcase for all of my knick knacks and pictures, it's so classy. I keep books on it too, but need bookends since there are no sides or back. It's a very pretty mirrored metal and was pretty straightforward to assemble.

Compare to Z Gallerie This bookcase is just as nice as what you would find at Z Gallerie but so much more affordable. It was fairly easy to put together between my husband and I. Came very well packed and I love how well it fit with the rest of my bedroom decor.

Gorgeous shelves These shelves are absolutely beautiful, and they were pretty easy to assemble. While it's possible to assemble them alone, it is with someone helping. They're sleek and elegant, but not the sturdiest.

Modern Chrome Excellence This chrome shelving unit came well packed with clear instructions on how to put it together. With the help of a friend we put it together in under two hours. The look is understated elegance, black glass and chrome, which blends with my other decor. The shelves, being glass, are perfect for plants and let a lot of light through into the room. The only drawback (the reason for not 5 stars because this is an exceptionally lovely piece once assembled) is putting the parts together requires nimble fingers and a lot of patience because the screws attach inside little openings on the bottom of the shelf which is accomplished using a tiny Allen Wrench. (All these parts are provided, thanks!) One must be careful when doing this because there are some openings with sharp pieces of metal in there and turning the little wrench requires multiple readjustments, so be patient and focused. The results are worth it!

Looks more expensive than it was I bought two of these for my living room and they really do look more expensive than they were. They are a great alternative to a horchow etagere at a fraction of the price. I would give them 5 stars but the process to put them together was very time consuming.

Pretty but not perfect!!!!!!! The sides are very easy to put together but the screws for the shelves are a pain. This will be a two day job for me and I'm very handy with items like this normally. I'm sure when the rest is done it will be beautiful . For the money assembly should be alot easier.

Elegant, with a touch of hollywood regency Beautiful, sleek design. It takes you back to the Hollywood Regency era, with it's shiny, chrome framing and black mirrored glass. It screams opulence, yet is fairly affordable. I have nothing bad to say about this piece. I just wish I had bought a little wider unit. But, it fits neatly in any room, without being overpowering.

We wouldn't recommend drilling a hole into this item as it may cause unwanted damage.

There are no holes, for it to be secured to a wall. However, you could try to pre-drill some small holes, through the chrome legs(back, top) and secure it that way. I would make sure the holes were small, make sure you are securing to studs, and I would use screws, instead of nails. Screws grip better and have more bite. Also, you'd wanna make sure it's sitting/standing level on whatever surface you will place it. I would be afraid of messing it up, but if you have a handy friend, it could work. I am NOT affiliated with Great Offer Stock, or the furniture's manufacturer in any way. I was just suggesting scenarios, if you really feel the need, to secure it to the wall. That probably wouldn't keep the little one from messing with stuff, on the shelves though:)
