My Christmas present to my wife was a set of French pottery. Our old silverware just didn't look right with our new dishes. We have been looking for the perfect flatware since we got the dishes. I found the 20 piece Laguiole Wood Grain Flatware by French Home just while browsing through the greatofferstock.com site. I fell in love with the look. I own three of the Laguiole pocket knives and have been very familiar with the exceptional quality of the blades. This gave me a good indication that the flatware would be of a similar quality. I bought them even without showing them to my wife as I knew that she would fall in love with them just as I did. When they arrived this week and she saw them for the first time, I could see it in her face that she was as thrilled with my purchase as I had been. I also did a little research and found that greatofferstock.com was the least expensive outlet for this 20 piece set. I couldn't have been more pleased.

This 20 Piece Laguiole Wood Grain Flatware Set by French Home has the traditional handles that we just love, but the spoons have a very flat shape and are not cupped enough to hold any amount of soup or liquid to bring to your mouth. The photos are deceiving. I would not recommend.

The problem with this set of flatware, is that the decal which provides the appearance of wood grain, washes off in the dishwasher. Even though the purchase guidelines indicated that they were ok to put into the dishwasher. We were quite disappointed.

Love these so much I bought four sets! They are extremely well made and so elegant looking. Such a good buy! I haven’t put mine in the dishwasher so I can’t speak to that but it’s easy enough to wash by hand to keep nice!
