Very interesting piece. When lit at nite it is more of a warm pink quartz look, than the picture which shows more red. It's size is really about 9 inches wide and 8 inches high, the size quoted is a bit mis leading. Very happy with the light, use it in the bedroom and it gives a warm glow to the whole room and looks like a bowl of glowing quartz. For it's holistic purpose I can't say, but it is a unique , exotic looking light. I am using a 15 watt candelabra base bulb, a bulb is not included. Very glad I took the chance on this item , thank you Great Offer Stock.

These are great to have in your home for peaceful sleep and low lighting but they DO NOT supply the light so before you can use lamp you need to go to your hardware store to get a tea light that is not to big for the Salt Lamps. Other than that complaint I love them (have three of my own).

I want to say these salt lamp are really out of this world!! I am so happy Great Offer Stock has them!!!!! I got a huge supply of the salt baskets for gifts. They are gorgeous and give off the most beautiful light. I turn it on at night as a light by the bed and one by chair I am in. They can be turned to soft or high lighting. And I believe the effects they have for natural healing on the sinuses and maybe headache as well are real. This one is really a nice little lamp too. Thank you Overstock!!!!!!!
