"I ordered this product on October 10,2016. It was delivered today October 17th on my front door by UPS at 3:17 and I picked it up at 3:30. Upon opening I found out that it was already completely thawed-room temperature and soaking on liquid. I understand that the typhoon was the reason for the delay in delivery. My question is: Is this still safe to consume? Its impossible to return this because of the nature of the product. Please help!!"

This Purveyor's Story: White Oak Pastures is a 5 generation family farm in Bluffton, Georgia, where we pasture-raise and hand-butcher 10 species of animals. Our production model has come full circle, mirroring the generations of Harris' that managed them. Today, on our 150 year old farm, we raise, slaughter, butcher our animals in a production system that emulates nature by allowing the animals to express their instinctive behaviors. We are proud to take part in regenerative agriculture, by building better soils to grow better grasses to raise healthier animals. White Oak Pastures is the only farm in the United States that has both, a red meat abattoir and poultry abattoir, on the farm and under USDA Inspection. Further, our zero-waste production model allows us to utilize cattle hides for leather goods, fat for biodiesel, viscera and bones for compost and soil amendments.
