No tablet or laptop can work on the internet without a wifi signal. Since most signals are locked by passwords you would have to pay for a special device which is quite expensive that will pick up the signal for you. The problem is the companies that offer this has you pay a lot for data charges. But you can stop along the way, I am certain there will probably be restaurants that offer free wifi you can sign into while your there.

This tablet is Wi-Fi only, does not work off cellular service, so if your vehicle has built in Wi-Fi (basically the vehicle converts cellular to Wi-Fi) then yes. If your vehicle doesn't have Wi-Fi you may be able to tether the tablet to your cell phone. You would need to check your phone and service to see if tethering is capable/allowed on your phone/contract. If capable be careful with data usage unless you have unlimited data. Hope this helps...

Most all if not all tablets won't support flash player, if they did, you wouldn't need to buy most game apps. You could then go to the game sites like pogo, slingo, etc. and play for free.

Absolutely! I downloaded Google Chrome for surfing the internet. The reason I purchased this tablet is because I am an avid reader and I wanted to be able to download books in all formats. You can't do that with an *** Kindle or *** Nook reader. I have both Kindle and Nook apps on my Samsung tablet so I'm able to access every book I want, some of which are not available on one or the other apps. You won't be disappointed with this tablet. It holds a charge for a long time too. I can go 4-5 days until it needs charging and I use it every day.
