It is a long ethernet cable. That pretty much says it all. It you need one, this one will work fine.

I needed this cable to focus a camera lens. Since it's not something I'm going to use everyday, buying one on a budget is most beneficial for my application. I say these HDMI cables are good but I have not yet had to test them but they look good on the surface. If my past experience is any proof, then these INSTEN Black Male to Male High-speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet will prove good. 

Plugged into my Apple Macbook Pro along with an HDMI cable and was able to watch movies immediately on my flat screen TV. I am able to stream from movie websites without having to get a streaming device. This adapter works great with my laptop at a fraction of the cost.

Hooked up just fine. Charges a phone, tablet while powering two external USB drives with no issue. Use it for connecting iPhone and iPad to MacBook Pro while using one USB3 drive for a Time Machine backup and another for external file storage. Music instruments connect and work fine through this as well.

You can never have enough cables. Most units today require these type and this will be the ones you need.
