This version does NOT have the touch bar. The touch bar is a new feature which wasn't an option for the 2013 model.

"Is this device free of scratches and and dents?"

I received on Macbook Pro 15.4" laptop and it was in decent shape. It did have some scratches and the keys had labels on them. I am guessing the keys were faded or overused so that the content was worn off. I knew I was getting a refurb so didn't sweat it too much. However, after using the laptop for a week, it started overheating and erroring out. I contacted the seller and they were super fast at getting me a replacement. The replacement was like BRAND NEW. There were no scratches or dents and even the keys appeared new. I have to say I was impressed with the seller and even if a laptop has scratches, you can buy a skin that covers all but the Apple. I would like to add that the screen appeared new on both laptops I received. There were no imperfections in the screen.
