Perfect
I love my standing quilt hoop! it is perfect for my needs. I really like that I can use it for a quilt, or I could baste extra fabric around a cross stitch and use it for that, too. I'm sure I will upgrade one day, but this is everything it is advertised to be. Very easy to assemble and disassemble, so when I am done with my current project I can take it apart and tuck it neatly into the closet until I need it again. I do wish I had kept the box to store it when not in use. Just make sure to check out the description, and if it sounds like it's what you are looking for, get it. Great Offer Stock has it for less then I could find it in the stores, and no one on line can beat this price once you add in shipping.

Embroidery Hoop with Floor Stand
Received this embroidery hoop in only a few days and it went together very easily. It is sturdy as long as you tighten everything! It makes working on a large cross stitch crib quilt so much easier when you don't have to hold the hoop. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who does quilting, cross stitch or embroidery.

I bought this to quilt a small lap quilt. It's working out fine and keeps me portable on sewing on the quilt. It's a bit wobbly but so are quilt stands.

As a crafty person this is great for working on quilts and embroidery projects. I was looking at some elsewhere that were much more expensive. The size makes it easily portable as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a hoop and stand. Perfect!!!!!

Hello prairiemomof8, so if i understand this question right you are trying to see if you need to use a quilting frame? If your sewing squares onto it it does not need a quilting frame, i believe a quilting frame is best used for sewing a top piece to the batting and back piece because it keeps everything straight.
