    No these are not polarized but they are still great with anti reflective issues and I believe this blue shade is available is the polarized version if that's something you want. It just cost slightly extra but will say Polarized lenses in the description.

    They are VERY, VERY light. Ok for an overcast day, but simply would not cut it on a bright, very sunny day. These are more like jewelery, something to compliment an outfit than what they are designed to do. They are very pretty, but are not even close to the old Aviator (dark) glasses. I just bought a pair & still riding the fence on return. 1) the color is VERY light & offer little protection. 2) I am a petite female & ordered the small (55) size. I feel they are too small for my face 3) having been used to Maui Jims, they are EXTREMELY lightweight & don't feel they will hold up well. That being said, looks like an exchange is in order! I'll buy a pair of knock offs in this color on ***!
