Egyptian cotton? First of all, these pillowcases are nice and feel like good quality. They are thick and heavy though! My biggest concern is that they are marketed on Great Offer Stock as EGYPTIAN cotton. After receiving them, I looked at the packaging. Nowhere on the packaging does it say they are made from Egyptian cotton, nor does it even say they are cotton. On the care label of the pillowcases themselves, it does say they are 100% cotton, which was comforting. But Egyptian cotton? Says who? You pay a premium for Egyptian cotton over "regular" cotton. It is supposedly the finest cotton in the world. It is also a HUGE marketing label, saying it's 100% Egyptian cotton versus saying it's 100% cotton. So, the manufacturer/distributor does not say, anywhere on the packaging, that it is Egyptian cotton when it is so? I have my doubts.

Finally a sheet to fall in love with. I have been searching for YEARS for a set of sheets that are heavy, thick and have that crispy feel to them. My search is finally over and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. I purchased the 1500 thread count for my sheets and the 1200 thread count for my pillow cases (they didn't have the pillow cases in my color at 1500) and I LOVE THEM. Just ordered another set!!!!

Not so soft Okay, the fabric is thick, but although it's 1200 thread count, they are rough after washing. Very dissappointing...considering the price and all...I don't have any idea what the other reviewers are talking about when they said that these are soft. I don't get it...Another pillowcase to use in decorating because I'm not going to put my head on these...just sayin'

Outstanding Product I first bought these sheets over 8 years ago. When I upgraded from a Queen to a King 6 years ago, I had to have them for the new bed, too. These sheets are amazingly comfortable and last for years with regular washing. 6 years later, I just had to order my first replacement set for the bed we sleep in every night. To add to the order I just received of these great quality linens. I washed exactly as directed cold water and gentle cycle and followed by drying on low heat. No, it did not take hours for the linens to dry nor were they in need of ironing at the end of the drying cycle. I could not be more pleased at this point.
