After reading all of the positive reviews, I purchased this blanket to use as a comforter in my son's room. Before using, I washed it seperately & machine dried it for only about 10 min to remove any wrinkles. After removing from the dryer, there appeared to be white fuzz all over it (very noticable on black). While picking off the fuzz, it became apparent that it was the polyfill stuffing coming out through the blanket. There were even a few small pinholes where cotton ball - sized clumps had pulled out through the fabric. I am so surprised that this had not happened to anyone else, unless they used the blanket without washing first. If I could remove the fuzz, I would consider keeping it, but as you pull it off, more stuffing continues to come out. Unfortunately, this one is going back.

King Reversible Down Alternative Blanket 90"x108"
This blanket looked to be very lightweight and thin with a sewn edge not a blanket satin edge when it arrived. You cannot bring it up to your chin if you have a 13-inch thick king-sized mattress because it is 90 inches long and needs to be tucked into the bottom. But the first night we slept under it, we were pleased at the warmth. The color and weight were lighter than expected but it was used with the comforter turned down and was perfect on a cold winter night.

Washed the item per the instructions and the nice plum color was covered in pieces of the filling - took awhile to take them all off. Other than that it is warm and provided just the look that I wanted.

Poor quality
It looked very nice when I recieved it, but when I used it the filling immediately started coming thru the outer material. It was very disapointing, and i would not recommend this blanket to anyone!

Snags easily
Beautiful when we first got it but within a few weeks it is covered in snags with the white fill coming out of the snags. Would not recommend for regular use.

Don't purchase this blanket
When I received this blanket, I was very happy initially about its appearance--pretty color, as advertised. After pulling it out of the package, however, I noticed that small pieces of the "down" were coming out all over the blanket, making it look dirty. Some of the pieces were tiny, and I could pull them out. Others were huge, and seemed to be making holes in the blanket as I tried to get them out. I decided that I would still try the blanket out, and we began to use it. After about a month of usage, the thread/sewing on the sides of the blanket started to unravel.***
