Feels more like 800 TC If I didn't know better, I would have thought these pillow cases were a much higher thread count. I have another pair I purchased from Great Offer Stock for another bed in this exact style that's 1000 TC, and there is not too much of a difference. I was not expecting these to be so soft, and they are of great quality as well. The damask striping also looks great as a contrast. I have these in both black and red, and they are true to the colors (which is often a concern of mine). The black is a very dark black, and the red is true red - like fire engine red. I've also seen the aubergine sheets/cases, and if that's the color you're looking for, they are absolutely gorgeous. All in all, these pillow cases are great quality, feel much softer than other pillows I have in 300 TC, and the color matches that of what's pictured. These are a great buy.
