I bought these pillow cases for my guest bed and they are fine. I have all white cotton pillowcases and sheets for sort of a "fine hotel" feel. I even put a chocolate on the pillow. I give these a quick ironing after washing for a crisp look, but for everyday use I wouldn't bother.

Very Poor Quality Brand new out of the package, this item was soft, it had a nice sheen, and vibrant color. After the first wash in cold water on delicate / dried with gentle heat, the softness was replaced by a rough hand, the sheen was gone, and the color faded considerably. Very poor quality.

Great pillowcases I bought these pillowcases in burgundy. The burgundy is a true rich burgundy color. After several washings it has remained a rich true burgundy color. They have the soft feel of cotton and are comfortable to sleep with. These pillowcases are comparable to my other 300 thread count bedding. Since pillowcases can be quite expensive I shopped around before buying these. I think they are a good value.

300 thread count oh ya!!!! These pillow cases were smooth and soft when i first opened them and put them on my pillows. However after washing them just once, the fabric seemed a bit rougher. The same soft smooth consistancy was not the same.this was a little discouraging as upon first opening them i was thrilled with fabric and color. Funny i have had some pillow cases for years and they are old yes, but still maintain their thread count. I'm a Convert As a woman who spent her life sleeping on permanent press sheets, I've been hesitant to try all-cotton. When I took them out of the package they felt stiff and a bit slick, like new permanent press sheets and I wondered why I bothered to try them. But I washed them and pulled them right out of the dryer when it finished. They were a bit wrinkled, but I smoothed them with my hands and folded them until time to put them on the bed. They really don't look much different wrinkle-wise, and since I use a comforter, only my husband and I will see the minor wrinkles. But we also get to enjoy the softness of the cotton. I love the way it feels on my skin. And I find them much more comfortable in the warm climate where I live. I'll only be buying Egyptian cotton sheets from now on.
