Does the job
I have a foam mattress and it was hot. That is why I purchased this particular mattress protector. The product is well made and fits nicely. It does make the mattress less uncomfortable due to heat. I don't think I would call it Sleep Chill though. If you're expecting a big difference in the heat it probably won't happen. But it is enough to make it tolerable for me. This is a very nice product and it is a good buy at the price.

This protector will fit mattresses from 7-13" in height. Our mattress protectors (like 90% of protectors in the marketplace today), does not feature "loft" or "padding". They are different from older style - mattress pads - that is, items that were more designed to offer "quilted padding" and "additonal "softness" to anb existing mattress. Those are still in the marketplace, but it has been determined that indeed ALL your comfort should come from your new mattress, and these should be just a "protector" - that is offer protection to your new mattress from staining, keeping body sweat and fluild out of the foam in your new mattress and offer that 10 year stain protection in addition to the warranty that comes with your new mattress.

The closest fit you will get is a twin XL. But those are 80 inches long. They might stretch though. I'm sorry I could not find that we have any that are 84 inches long.
