you can go nuts trying to find a good mattress pad
My mattress is 14 1/2 inches thick. This pad was supposed to cover a 17 inch mattress, I believe. It does not completely cover the sides and makes that arc-like fit from corner to corner. That was a disappointment. However, on the plus side, it is waterproof without sounding like plastic, it does lay flat on the bed, and the corners do not pop off and they seem securely anchored. Much better than my old mattress pad which could just barely hang on to my new mattress. What is so hard about making a mattress pad that covers the entire mattress, lays flat and doesn't move? We can put a man in space but we can't produce a mattress pad that fits for under $XXX?

This mattress pad is about 4 inches too small to fit a 15-inch mattress. The feel of the fabric is very nice and smooth. It seems sewing and quilting are done well with quality threads. I can recommend this to anyone with an xl-twin mattress that is less than 15 inches in depth.

Needed to replace existing mattress pad. This is good quality for the price. Easy to fit, waterproof but not stiff or noisy. Wouldn't know was waterproof fibers by texture, pleased it looks and performs well. Comfortable, just what we needed.

We love the mattress pad, but...that said, it is very fluffy. We love the plush feel, however, it might be too warm for you. The waterproof is wonderful protection for your mattress. Maybe a thinner waterproof protector would be a better fit for you. My husband finds it a bit warm....I love it!

We would not recommend this mattress pad for a warm sleepers. Although it water proof but not cooling. We recommend using our cool touch Tencell Lyocell mattress pad.
