i happened to order the South Shore bed linens, and was beyond impressed with the quality of the fabric used, and with the construction!! i am now a loyal customer! these sheets/ pillowcases/ bedspread sets are also the most comfortable to sleep on and under. because their sheeting products are double brushed, they stay in place on the bed, but are not hot like some of the other higher thread counts which get overly hot to me. they have gotten softer (which i didn't think was possible) with washing and do come out of the dryer wrinkle free. i like sleeping with summer-weight quilt next to me, with a sheet over that. other sheets usually slide off the quilt, but not these. if it's not obvious, let me say i absolutely, positively love the South Shore products and have already recommended them to friends, who also are very happy to have them. i now have at least four sheet sets, and one of the quilt sets.
When in bed I use satin pillow covers on a pillow that I position between my knees or under my knees to align my spine. Thus the pillow is easy to move as I shift positions in bed. These pillowcases are well made and very reasonably priced.
The sheets seem to be decent quality. Not as soft as I exspected them to be. The description said it would fit beds up to 18". I have a 14" and it barely fit on. The sides show mattress and do not tuck under for the fitted sheet. The sides of the flat sheet could be longer aswell. You could probably find a better set for the money.
Apparently I have been searching for a miracle (a product that helps keep my head cool while sleeping). Unfortunately, for the first time, I am writing a less-than-stellar review for an online purchase. Quality is good, they hold up well under washing conditions, but I am unable to report that they helped in the temperature department. Still looking.....
