The Madison Park Egyptian Cotton Year Round Solid Blanket is just what the name describes. I ordered it in a queen size white and the size and color are just what I expected. the light-weight weave will work well for air conditioned nights, as well as, capturing the warmth needed for chilly Florida winter nights. Very satisfied. Will order again for other beds. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful and cozy blanket, but there are a couple of things to be aware of. Out of the packing, this blanket had a smell (like clothing preservation chemicals do) so I decided to wash it. Make sure that you wash the blanket according to the instructions! It shed in the wash as well as the dryer, but as soon as it was dry, the blanket no longer smelled, was very soft and looks good.

The feel of this blanket is more like a light sheet over you in the summer rather than a thicker, warmer blanket that would protect you from a chill. I suppose I was hoping for just a bit more thickness. No qualms with the quality; it's pretty soft and hasn't pilled or become worn (after the first wash anyways). My partner called it "my new hospital blanket"... it's certainly not the trendiest, but it gets the job done.
