This dual layer, medium-firm-feeling mattress features a top layer of gel memory foam for pressure-relieving comfort and a high density foam base that offers plenty of support. A 2.5-inch layer of gel-infused memory foam works throughout the night to correctly align your spine, improving your posture and preventing lower back pain. Memory foam is known for its ability to quickly conform to your body weight and position, hugging curves to prevent pressure points.The memory foam layer is infused with gel material that captures and distributes heat to prevent overheating. A ventilated design improve airflow for a more comfortable sleep climate. At the surface, a soft Tencel blend cover provides a breathable air layer. Cover fabric is 10-percent Tencel lyocell, 90-percent polyester. Foam in this mattress is CertiPUR-US certified for safety.
This mattress is shipped vacuum packed, so your mattress is easy to transport and set up. After your mattress arrives, simply take the package into the right room, remove it from the box and protective wrap, and then watch as it expands.

Yikes. VERY firm. Bought this for my 11 yr kid's new bed. The kid likes a firm mattress but this was like cement. We bought a very thick egg carton foam pad to put on top of it to give it some cushion but it's not a perfect solution. Do not buy this unless you like a very, very firm mattress.

Very Comfortable I've overpaid and spent a lot of money on mattresses in the past that formed craters where I slept and this bed so far has out performed any of the mattresses by a long shot. I've slept on this mattress for two months now and not only has it held up but I've found it more comfortable than any previous mattress I've owned. I'm a larger body but for me I find this mattress to be the perfect balance between soft and firm. I do sink deep into it but at the same time it molds to my body position nicely.

terrible sinking mattress This has to be the worst item I have ever purchased from Overstock! I was excited to have a new comfortable mattress to sleep on when I ordered this. However it turned out to be a major disappointment. Every night when we slept on it we felt like we were sinking into it and just trying to roll over was like climbing out of a sponge. Also just sitting on the side to get dressed was like sinking to the floor. We actually put our old mattress back on and put this one down in our basement. Total waste of our money this time!

We bought 3! I needed mattresses in a hurry for 3 beds so I got these. They feel stiff as a board initially, but then as you lie there, you sink in and it's very comfortable. I would not use the word PLUSH. Quite honestly you could bounce a quarter off them--but the weight of your body makes them comfortable while providing support.

We put it on our box spring. But now my wife wants to try a platfirm bed. I had never owned a comfort foam mattress, but for us, we will never own anything else now. My only complaint is that is does sleep a little warmer than a conventional mattress. But not unbearably so. For the price, this mattress is definitely hard to beat. And it is super convenient the way it is shipped.

Compared to the 12" Serta Memory Gel Foam Mattress it is very mushy! I have both. This Lucid is a nice Mattress for the price, But it does not offer much support, especially if you weight more than 200lbs. I am 148 and it is fine. But it is like sleeping on a cloud. Wonderfully soft and mushy. I prefer it over my Master Serta... I would also recommend nothing under a 10" for an adult because these mattresses tend to sink in.
