I purchased the navy blue. It was a little lighter in the picture. It is a true navy blue but looked more like the picture of the indigo. The fabric is nice and heavy but doesn't have the feel of velvet, more like microfiber. The medallions are not as deep as I wanted. Although hand sewn, They were flatter than expected. In the pictures that I saw the look was more luxurious and hand a shiny look to it. If your are expecting that you will be disappointed like I was. I only took out the pillow case. So I can't comment on how big or oversized it is, All in All if it had a more luxury feel and look to it I would have given it 5 stars. I think maybe my expectations were just to high. But if you are looking for a nice true quilt this is the item for you.

We purchased the Plum colored quilt and it's Beautiful! I'm Very Happy that it is actually stitched with thread and not just heat pressed. It is incredibly soft too! I plan to purchase another one (once I decide between the Burgundy or Camel color). My only concern was that it is NOT supposed to be dried in the dryer and has directions that say hang dry in the shade. I cheated and used the dryer on the "Fluff--No Heat" setting until it was very close to dry and then used the lowest setting "Low--Sensor Dry" to complete it. It came out fine but I'm considering getting a line outdoors to hang it on in the future because I want it to last a Long time!
