"I have Rheumatoid Disease so I wake with hip and back pain every day. What will this topper do to alleviate a lot of my pain. I am also on RA drugs that cause night sweats. Does this topper help distribute heat? I can't afford a new mattress, and the topper I have now (from the guy on TV) didn't last long before having to flip it every couple months or more. I hear the "gel" topper is best, and this is.....why? I really NEED something to help reduce the pains I wake to every day. I really want something that will give my joints comfort."

This is my 3rd one in 20 years here! I LOVE these toppers! Truthfully, I have not bought a new regular mattress in 20 yrs either. My regular mattress is a pillow top and I now longer use the box springs. I have a the 4" topper on top of the pillow top mattress which sits on a "Dura Bed Frame" Sold here on O. A much cheaper option than the fancy solid foam mattress systems that sell for lots and lots of money. I have compared my bed to friends and family that have those $1K++ beds and I LOVE mine just as much....and they have slept on mine and can NOT believe they spent the money they did for the same sleep comfort as my DIY set up. That said, if you are transitioning from a regular mattress there are some differences such as heat. I bought this "Gel Infused", dont bother spending the extra money, it is not different then the other ones.....without the gel. Foam toppers are a little warmer than regular mattress's. I use an an all cotton cover and that helps a lot. Then, you have to be knowledgeable about the foams density, the higher the density, the firmer the matress. I could have gone a tiny bit firmer with this one, it is still comfy soft with firmness but I believe it is preference. So, if you do not know what your density preference is, shop at a store first and do some reconnaissance research before you buy here because returning will not be pleasant. Once this thing unrolls it will be almost impossible to repack it in its original package. Dont be afraid to buy here though. Like I said, I have bought all 3 of my topper here. I am a bargain shopper and the price is ALWAYS the best here. As long as you know what density you want and thickness, go for it....you will not be disappointed!

It does keep you cool (i paired it with a cooling comforter from ****). AND it doesn't fall flat. If you put it on your bed immediately, just note that it takes between 2 days and a week for the mattress to completely expand and level out. I also insist that you get DEEP POCKET fitted sheets so that the topped isnt compressed. Its firm and plush at the same time.

I purchase this to soften a worn queen size mattress. This was better than I could have anticipated. It is very comfortable and it really is cool, I highly recommend this item. I has saved me a ton of money and most importantly is extremely comfortable.

absolutely love this. Hate sleeping anywhere else now. We have had this for a few years and is still as good as first day. We have purchased them for every bed inour house and even sent one to my In-laws. Everyone loves them.

This is heavy. If you move it around to move or anything be super careful or you could rip the foam. I am sure this is a great topper because guests love it. I just don't like memory foam.

Not being a physician or having RA I cannot speak to this topper alleviating your pain. I purchased it purely for comfort. As I have aged my current mattress begins to seem a bit hard and I thought I would experiment with a Memory Foam topper before investing in a new mattress. I have read that Memory Foam can be hot to sleep on and that was a concern for me. There are many Memory Foam mattress manufactures using new designs to alleviate this issue. Although I have not had any issue with sleeping too hot, this topper is simply 4 inches of Memory Foam with no feature intended to distribute heat. I have found it quite comfortable to sleep on and it has fulfilled my intention for find a softer sleeping surface. I do not recommend you purchase the Cover with the Topper. The Cover that came with my topper I fell apart in very short order and it is not at all durable. I now use a standard Mattress Pad. If the mattress you intend to add a topper on is one of the thicker designs, adding 4 inches will stretch a standard mattress pad and sheets to their maximum capacity.

I suffer from RA myself, my experience with this topper has been a positive one. Very comfortable and it contours to your body. Everybody's experience is different. My husband has suffered from back problems for a while and he is very happy with this topper, he says that it has helped decrease his back pain.
