Lighting Update I am updating my entire home décor to a more contemporary look and purchased 2 of these lamps. I love the mercury glass component - and the wire wrap around the outside is pretty cool. But two minor dings to this product: the entire lighting assembly is supposed to be glued to the lamp base - however ours was not even attached...we are gorilla gluing it back on; and the wire mesh around the entire lamp isn't even at the top - so we are having to make sure that when we do glue back on the lighting assembly - that we are conscious of where the wire is lower on the top portion of the base and put that toward the back of the lamp. For the price - there should be a bit more Quality Control involved - but I love the look and design so am keeping it and making it work in spite of the issues.
