Lucid mattress protector I bought this to add a little more protection to my brand new Lucid gel top mattress. I've already purchased one for a full size bed. I really was glad I did too. There was an accident involving a cup of red kool-aid and I'm pleased to say it never soaked through to the new matress. It's so waterproof and stain resistant too. There's not even a hint of kool-aid left where it was spilled. I highly recommend this product to accompany your new mattress or to extend the life of your old one.

100% worth it! I got this mattress protector with a mattress topper and was worried that it wouldn't fit. It fit with ease and was tight. I love the fabric it is made out of because it is a cloth material, not the plastic material or the webby material that always rips easily. I got this to test it so that is what I did, I dumped some water on it and it didn't soak in! This is 100% worth it because it is waterproof, great material and durable!

Disappointed This mattress cover is a disappointment. While I have no doubt that it's waterproof, because you can feel the crackling plastic/vinyl within. These days you expect a waterproof cover that doesn't feel waterproof. It is thin, crackling and seem cheaply made, I deeply regret making this online purchase. I had difficulty finding a cal-king size in local stores, but now I realize I should have found a brand I liked and ordered that specific item online. I know there are much better covers, I purchased one from HomeGoods for a queen bed in our guest room that was much better quality.

It is not thick at all. It is just like a fitted sheet - fits right underneath your regular, fabric fitted sheet. It does not make any noise at all. You won't know it's there - you can't feel it or hear it. But it does protect the mattress very well. I use it on my 4 year old's mattress and it has protected the mattress from pee and puke! Nothing gets through that protector! It's great.

The pad does not make any noise at all - it's very soft to the touch - almost like a velour feel - not very thick, hugs tight to the mattress so that the sheet fits nicely on top of the pad - best mattress pad we have ever owned.

I have been using this pad for 2 king size and 1 full size beds for several years. They make no noise, are very flexible and you have no idea they are under your regular fitted sheet. I use mine to prevent doggie accidents on these beds. The pads get washed in hot water and dried on regular heat and I have not had one of them break down. I cannot recommend them more highly. They are fabulous.
