I got the 10' x 14' version. Looks very much like the photo. A substantial rug that I think will withstand high traffic and is a terrific value. The only negative is that it is not as soft or silky as I was expecting. It feels more like a wool rug. I have another Savafieh rug in the Stone Vintage color way that is much thinner, very silky in feel and looks more expensive. The 10' x 14' version of that rug was almost twice the price as the Evoke rug so I went with the lesser priced rug. Having said that, the Stone Vintage version sheds quite a bit (it is still new) and the new Evoke rug doesn't seem to shed very much at all. I bought felt rug pads to go underneath both rugs. The Stone Vintage really needed it. I think I could have perhaps gotten away without using a rug pad on the Evoke since the pile is nearly twice as high/thick as the Stone Vintage. I think this rug will be a real workhorse - just wish it was a tad silkier, but not enough to take away a star!
I hate buying stuff. Rugs. Sofa pillows. Anything decorative really, but after buying my first home (condo) I had to care and honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase. The rug shipped and arrived in perfect condition due to sound packaing, unpacked and rolled out easy, and has no flaws or issues. If you're looking for something super plus/thick, you'll need to buy something else as this while not paper thin is only .5 inches thick, so on it's own it's not bad but I bought the Mohawk felt rug pad which is thick to add some additional padding and to keep it from moving and the combo is perfection. Good price, great quality, and works perfectly in my space. Thanks Safavieh and Overstock!
the rug is actually thick and comfy to walk on. Also the design is very convenient for hiding any stains from kids. Very versatile design that would fit with all kinds of décor style!
I love this rug! This is one of five Safavieh rugs I purchased from Great Offer Stock.com. I purchased this for my dining area in my new apartment. It is a low pile rug which is perfect for under a dining room table. Although it is low pile is still is very densely woven. When you stand on it in barefeet you can not feel the jute backing even when pushing your toes into the fibers. There are various shades of grey that range from a medium true gray to ivory, there are even some sprinkles of black fibers to enhance the pattern, it is sure to go well with most true grays you are trying to match. It also will work well with the taupe colors. The distressed look comes in the outer edge where the Oriental inspired design has been muttled to simulate the wearing away of the pattern. A very well done, modern take on an Oriental rug. I am very pleased with the Safavieh brand of area rugs and will look to them first when looking for another area rug. They are a very high quality well made rug. These 5 rugs have been my first experience with the Safavieh brand and with greatofferstock.com and I have to say I am very impressed by both!
Beautiful for any style of home! WOW. Farmhouse Country Victorian etc. “ Colors know how to brighten up the room.” Great inspiration in any room!
I bought the Safavieh Evoke Quinn Vintage Boho Distressed rug in Gray. The color is good, the rug is soft but thin. I was disappointed in the pattern, looks better in pictures.
Love this rug! Perfect size & colors for our room. Colors are exactly like picture. Had another Safavieh rug & loved the quality, style & colors!
I bought this rug to drop over my existing carpet in my office because I'm bored with my existing color palette. I wanted to bring in a different color scheme without doing a major change such as painting. This rug is absolutely fantastic! It's thin, but not flimsy thin, cheap thin, or see through thin. Lightweight would be a better description for the thickness. If I were purchasing this for a smooth floor (such as tile, hardwood or linoleum) I would buy a non-skid underlay for it just to be safe. I don't think it would slide easily, but with enough force (e.g., a child running through the house - and running onto it) I think it would move out of place without a non skid underlay. Some reviewers suggest buying a carpet pad for the underneath. To me, the addition of a carpet pad depends upon how you plan on using the rug. If you're going to use it to frame furniture (i.e., under a bed, or at the base of a couch, then I don't believe you need one. If you're planning on lying on it (e.g., for watching tv), then probably yes. I say this because the carpet weave is plush, and soft (think about 1/4" in thickness - give or take a hair). I laid down on it just for a minute to see how it felt and it was surprisingly more comfortable than I thought it would be. Granted, I did say it's in my office and I tossed it over the top of my existing carpet, but I don't think that had a lot of influence because the existing carpet is office carpet, thin, tight weave, and glued down to the floor, no padding underlay. The floor itself is wood subfloor with board flooring over it (not concrete board). The color consists of black, grey, and ivory, and is really a beautiful carpet. I had originally planned to cut out a piece of the end so it wouldn't cover my heating vent. But, after laying it out, I just could not bring myself to cut into it. So, I've tucked the edge under on that side (something I generally think is tacky, and have never done before). I've decided that when I want to change up the decor again, I'm going to reuse this carpet in our bedroom. As for the "vintage" look, again it's spot on. It's vintage without looking worn out and old. I'm very seriously considering buying the other Safavieh I was looking at before I settled on this one. (The other has much more ivory.) I know others commented about the ends curling up when you first unroll it. Yes, the very tips of the corners did curl up when it was unrolled, however, I think this is to be expected because there's no telling how long the carpet was in the rolled position to begin with. Nevertheless, after a few hours the corners flattened right out perfectly. I've never written a review before, but I always find others' reviews so helpful, I thought I would this time. I hope my review is helpful for you. And I absolutely will buy this product again.
This rug has vibrant colors and is soft underfoot. It's not too thick and doesn't shed. Perfect for my kitchen that is a high traffic area with people and pets. Great for not showing stains. I also have the runner that matches in front of my kitchen sink. Highly recommend.
The Safavieh Evoke Quinn Vintage Boho Distressed Rug is a great quality rug. I purchased this for my main living area over 3 years ago in the Grey/Ivory color and it has worn well. The Grey is light to medium and the Ivory was more of what I would consider off white without the yellow undertone. It’s been cleaned overall only a few times without any problems or fading. Spot cleaning with dish soap and water has worked on any spills. The backing is a little rough so I would recommend a rug pad.
The SAFAVIEH Evoke Quinn Vintage Distressed Rug was perfect for tying our living room together. It added a much needed vibrant blue to add a splash of color to our space. The rug was neatly packaged and did not have any noticeable faults.
Perfect Rug for our dinning room fit well under our new 4 x 11 farmhouse table! Love the mild distressed design making it a perfect match to our modern farmhouse style room.
Very nice neutral rug. My style is more farmhouse style and this rug fits the motif. It also would be easy to hide any dirt . May want to use a rug pad .
Purchased this for our entryway and I couldn't be more pleased! This is my second rug in this pattern (we also got the larger 7 X 9) for our living room. The pattern is subtly distressed, good construction and can go with different décor styles and color schemes. The affordability is a major plus too!
We live the pattern and color of this rug. Quality and style and very durable. We liked it so much we purchased another for a different room. Great buy.
I love this rug. Its muted color blends with my furniture without overstatement. This rug is very soft, and yet durable and non shedding. I've rated it five stars and consider it one of my finest purchases. Safavieh rugs are quality rugs, and add an stylish touch to any room.
Beautiful great for high traffic areas , in my dinning room. Makes the whole room come together. Love it. Would work any where in a home. You could make it formal or for more casual look. Very pretty well made stains come out with out any trouble. I have bought a few of this brand..
The colors are beautiful. The perfect accent rug for my home office. Very coastal. Quality and thickness are just what I wanted for this space!
Another beautiful rug. Matched my sons bedroom perfectly. The quality for the price is unmatched with Safavieh rugs. I can always find a one to match my room style.. easy to clean. Edges hold up well also.
After weeks of searching for the prefect rug and reading hundreds of reviews, I took a gamble and chose this one and I am glad I did! The rug was delivered quickly, looks high end and feels very soft under your feet--not like other synthetic rugs. The color is true to the picture and the greys vary from light to charcoal. I could not be happier with our purchase.
