I have multiple items. The bedside table I was using was starting to get cluttered so I finally bought the nightstand to have a drawer. Its small and low to the ground which is proportional to the low style of the bed. It took me about 1 12 hours to assemble it at a leisurely pace while watching TV. The only tools I used were a Phillips head screw driver and a rubber mallet. A handy person who frequently assembles furniture could do it much faster but if you only do this occasionally I do not recommend trying to assemble this in a hurry. The instructions were obviously translated from another language and its more important to look carefully at the drawings and make sure everything matches and is aligned correctly. I put it aside for a few minutes when I was unsure about a step involving the rails and when I looked back again I realized I had the two wood pieces backwards. The only clue was a small hole on the drawing. I think another reviewer described something similar and had to disassemble it before continuing. Like all the items this nightstand is very sturdy and looks more expensive than it was. The color is very rich and warm. I'm really happy with it. I would describe my style as classic modern.
I ordered 2 nightstands and they are perfect in size and also modern. They look gorgeous in my bedroom. Both pieces arrive not damaged.
We loved these nightstands for our bed. We have an upholstered dark gray headboard so we were trying to bring together masculine-comfy with mid century modern. They look great and the backing allows them to be in the middle of the room or off the wall. One of them didn't come with instructions so luckily we had ordered two. They look nice but are definitely not a piece that would last forever.
The bedroom set only comes with 1 nightstand but adding the second one really compliments the set making it look GRAND!
