At first I was a little disappointed, b/c it looked "too matte and plain" compared to the picture. But once I remembered why I liked it, I stood by my original decision in buying it. Once the pendant fixture is hung, it has to be hung so that the inside of the lamp slightly shows (that copper color). It transforms into a beautiful, chic lighting piece over our kitchen island. Also, I gave it 4-stars only b/c of the two pendants I ordered, one came with small dents on it (the bubble wrap on it was very lightweight). I returned it for a new one and Great Offer Stock immediately exchanged it. Great customer service & return policy.
