Purchased this to soften our king-sizedTempur-pedic mattress (the mattress is too hard and it was causing numbness on pressure points). The cover that comes with the topper is a little noisy when you first get into bed, but not enough to disturb your sleep when you move. It is cool to sleep on. The only problem I have with this topper, and you should consider this before buying, is you need to re-fluff it at least once every 7 days. Fluffing the king-sized topper is a challenge - it is hard to get the feathers evenly fluffed. Try as I might, I can't get the feathers to be evenly distributed between the head, middle and feet areas. There ends up being too many in the middle or at the head or feet. Once you put the sheets on and get in bed, you don't really notice but it would have been better if the baffles kept the feathers in place. After about 3 nights you lose most of the benefit of the fluff of the topper. One great feature of this topper over other 100% feather toppers is the down top layer. You never get feather-poke you might get from pure feather toppers.
This is a great topper. My son bought one for his queen size bed and loved it, so I bought one for my Cal King and it's been great. I needed to get a new mattress, but need to postpone the purchase and this has worked beautifully.
Love my bed. I would like it in a king size now. But no longer sold. I would move my queen to the guest room. So on a search for another king size bed
