I wanted a touch lamp and there wasn't many choices. Got this one in the white/ivory color. Came in undamaged and with minor assembly ( attaching harp to lamp ) I plugged it in and tested it. Worked fine although the material the lamp base is constructed of feels a bit strange. I suppose the look makes you think ceramic or porcelain but the material needed to conduct the electricity for the touch feature needs to be metal. Overall it is a decent lamp and hopefully will do its job for years to come.
These lamps are adorable! They are just the right pop of color my blue living room needed..
The quality on these lamps are great. We are very pleased with our purchase! Not having paid attention to the lamp shade dimensions. We were surprised to see how large the lamps are, but this is a good thing. Two lamps illuminate our entire living room at night. The lamp shades protect our eyes from direct contact, since the lamps sit at eye-level when we sit on our couches. The color is true to the picture. It is a light blue with perhaps a hint of turquoise. It will match your light blue decor, but if you have a bluish turquoise theme, it would go fairly well with that as well.
If you love having broken Styrofoam pieces everywhere, these are the lamps for you. Actually, they are very nice lamps, and I like them a lot. It would have been great if they could package them in some other way though. That is what prevented me from giving 5 stars. Also, as at least one other reviewer noted, the lamp shades are quite wide, so if you need to put these lamps on a small table near a wall, you would probably need to swap out the shades. The center point of the lamp will need to be at least 10" from the wall.
