"What is the height of the seat & height of the top of the back at the lowest & highest levels?"
They look great. I wish they were and 1- 2 inches. I have a counter height bar and they work but would be better just a tad shorter. I don't mind the raw wood yes a few of them could stand to have a fine sanding. The raw wood is part of the look and I think they'll age beautifully. Quick delivery.

I absolutely love them!! I ordered 4 for our new house and have only opened and assembled one so far. Assembly was a snap. The chairs are well made - much heavier than I thought they'd be. I was worried the seat would be too small and it wasn't - 15" round is plenty big. The only negative thing was there was some stinky, sticky, tar-like substance on a portion of the iron base. I will need to get that off, but I'm sure something like goo-gone will take care of it. Very happy with the purchase. :)

Quality problems with bar stools My wife ordered 2 of the bar stools for our kitchen. The stool looks and work great. However there was a problem with the backs. It looked liked someone erred in drilling the pilot holes to attach the wood back support. Instead of discarding them, they drilled additional holes, attached them to the support, packaged and shipped it. To your credit, when she called customer support they sent us two new backs. Well one of them has the same issue. I am attaching a picture showing the problem. She is too frustrated to call again.

Good value Since this was the specific style I was looking for, the value is pretty good. That being said, the tops of the backs were dented from being stored under the legs for shipping, although they were wrapped pretty well. A couple of the backs don't look like they were attached completely level, which bugs me some and I just hope no one else notices that kind of thing. The screws weren't put into the backs completely straight either and some are stripped catching on clothes if you brush them. They are sturdy, adjustable and have backs for less than $150 a piece, so a new package of screws still puts me way ahead.

So awesome ...but..... Fantastic looking and functioning bar stools; however somewhere from manufacturing to box and/or shipping there was a gash made in the top of the back rest on one of these. Also, the wood is rough and not sealed so I have to hire someone to finely sand it and make it safer for guests so they don't snag a sweater. Almost perfect....but more expensive than they appear as you have to put them together and then pay for their errors. Figure on an extra $100 at least :-(

Great Style I've been waiting for these stools to go on sale and I'm glad I purchased them when I did. The look that they give my kitchen/dining area is very nice. A good blend of industrial/contemporary. They seem to hold up very nicely too, great stools for a breakfast or bar area, I'm happy with them!

Love these stools These stools are a perfect blend of industrial and rustic! We needed stools to fit out higher than normal counter height breakfast bar and these are the perfect height! S.Amstutz I recently purchased these rustic Christopher Knight bar stools which I love; however, do make sure to check the backrests. My wooden backrests all came in gouged and dented. Great Offer Stock promptly sent me four more, 2 of which were damaged wood so I'm sure they will send me two more. Beautiful in our timber frame home.

Not exactly like the picture When I purchased these stools I thought they were finished. They are stained with no finish and rough edges. One stool I received at definite nicks in the wood and a place where they filled in the wood with some sort of white substance that does not stain. Would not recommend.

We put them around a bar and they are comfortable. Move around while watching a game or whatever. I had a small damaged nick that was sharp and sanded off but on 6 it was fine. You do not need to attach the back.

32-32.5" from floor to seat at highest setting. I use them for a 48" tall bar and they work fine. Ideally, they would go up another inch or two, but they work just fine. For the price you can't get anything else close, I recommend them.
