I received this rug and it was shipped very well. I unwrapped it with a lot of anticipation! When I unrolled it, it seemed smaller than I expected. So I measured it! This was expected to be a 4 foot square rug. It was short by two inches on one side and off one inch on the other. So the one I received was 3' 10" x 3' 11". Some might say that's close enough...but #1 it was not square and #2 it was not 4 ft to fill the area I had expected it to. So, if the sizing may vary, the manufacturer should disclose this because I would have gone larger based on that information. On the plus side, it is a quality wool rug, the colors were very similar to what I saw on my monitor.

Just the right size
I needed a long runner and a 4-foot square rug for my entrance and hallway, and this fit perfectly. It's a substantial rug, which I expect will hold up to the traffic of my entrance, which includes 4 paws and several pairs of feet.
