I have had this rug for well over 2 years. It still looks brand new. The shedding was crazy at first, but now it’s just normal ol’ wool rug shedding. It took 2 tries to get this rug though; the 1st one that arrived had hard pointy pieces throughout the carpet. After much discussion, Great Offer Stock took care of me and a new rug arrived that was what I had anticipated from the beginning. Soft, plush, beautiful however the colors are not true to my screen. The colors are muted. The rug is a ‘spa’ blue; taupe around the border. It has held up under teenagers, dog, cat, and my husband with dirty shoes..and of course me!! Great purchase.

Rug does NOT wear well
We have had this carpet for just over a year and all the edges are showing a lot of wear - only 2 of us in the house - no children or pets. Extremely disappointed as we have 2 other Safavieh rugs in our home that are much older and look almost as good as when they were purchased.

Surprise! Love it!
Despite reviews about shedding, colors, I took a chance, and so glad I did. I had wanted an light blue with a touch of aqua, and the yellow is muted yellow ocher with rust accents, perfect for what I wanted, no shedding, no smells, I am used to $1,500 rugs, and up-and this is a terrific, thick, comfortable walk on rug.

Good weight - pleased with the safavieh line
This rug is nice and thick. Sheds like most wool rugs, but slowed down after awhile. Pretty color, very true to the images on the screen. Shipping was quick, as always.

Colors different but very high quality thick rug
I was hoping for a more ivory rug but there is NO ivory. NONE. I am keeping it because it is still a very pretty, thick, plush rug with no rug pad needed. The real rug has a muddy grey, almost light brown color all over it but that color is completely missing from the picture shown. If you place your cursor in the top left corner of the picture shown and look very closely you will see a scroll pattern outlined in blue lines. It seems to be filled with pale yellow/ivory color but the actual color is LIGHT BROWN. Since that pattern is all over the rug, you have a muter and less brighter rug than what you see. I still think it is a pretty rug but is different than the colors shown.

Happy with wool rug
I read all of the reviews before purchasing. They were correct that the colors are not light blue & ivory, I would describe the 'light blue' as turquoise/steel blue and the 'ivory' as a very muted tan. All in all the carpet matches the colors I have in the room and looks great. I'm very happy with the look!

Think Burnt orange as your accent color- Wonderful
Rug is gorgeous and NOT muted at all. Reviews are a little off- my monitor was true to color and the orange accent color is actually burnt orange, with Olive green, Ivory with a hint of tan is the back ground with a more aqua blue main color. This Rug is gorgeous and really adds a lot of brightness with a classic feel to a room. Style is contemporary of you are trying to steer away form traditional. Buy this before it's gone- it is a fantastic price- also very thick/ about 1/2 inch

I have had this rug for over a year and it's looks like the day I received it, very plush and thick. The colors are maybe slightly darker than on the picture but it looks great in my family room with country french furniture and dark wheat walls. Definitely a great value for the price.
