New Office Owner Materials are great. Only problem is assembling the horizontal wood supports that go between the legs. The screws do not bite and the supports pop out when people sit in the chair. I am going to try longer screws, predrill new holes and wood glue. Hoping that works. If you are not handy with tools and good at assembly DO NOT GET THESE CHAIRS.

The back of each chair has 2 creases which are actually zippers. The fit is perfect on my two chairs. I have not used my chairs much so cannot answer the firmness question. They are comfortable.

The creases are "covers" for zippers on the back of each chair, not extra material, I don't think it takes away from the look of them at all. As for comfort/firmness we bought a set just shy of a year ago and we use them every day and they are still as comfortable as they were a year ago.

I've had for a few months and chairs are still firm..I did not have any folds in the chairs however there are spots on the chair that look discolored almost like ink stains..they are on more than one chair so I don't know If it's the way the fabric is supposed to be or if I got bad chairs. .I didn't send back bc who wants to send such a large item back.but I will say despite that I LOVE the set it is quite stunning I don't think you'll regret if you purchase. .hope this info helps
