I purchased 4 of these and am impressed with how great they look. The color of the fabric is a little lighter than I expected. My husband put all four together in 40 minutes (using a power screwdriver). For the price, these are an incredible deal!

Questions & Answers

  • Q:

"My counters are 43 inches. The seat height is fine. I’m worried about the total height. The backs of the stools would be two inches shorter than the counter. I can’t decide if that would look odd or not. Any thoughts? Thank you!"

    • A:

My counters are also 43" and the back of the chair is 41" My chairs are perfect because the shape of the back of the chair plays to the lines of everything else in the room. They look very good

    • A:

The chairs are great and look nice. Even if they are a little below the counter top, I think they are well worth the money. My extend about 1 inch above mine.

    • A:

That is how our counters and chairs are also. I think it is quite fine to have the chair backs under the lip of the counter. they tuck in nicely and don't take up additional room.

  • Q:

"Are these 35inches? The specs states "Dimensions: Seat measures 29.5 inches high""

    • A:

      30.5 inches

    • A:

Mine are 29 inches. To the top of the legs is 26 inches and the seats are about 3.5 inches thick and this gives you the 29.5.

    • A:

My counter stools are 41" high when I measure them from the floor to the very top of the back of the chair.

  • Q:

"How can I get these stools with the seat height of 24" ?"

    • A:

Unfortunately these are not available in 24'' seat height.

    • A:

They are very nice and price was much better than other similar chairs so since legs are wooden I will cut to counter height.

    • A:

I cut the legs of mine BEFORE assembling them-took 6 inches off the bottoms and they are perfect for a counter height table now.

  • Q:

"Do these chairs have the metal protective strip on the rungs?,"

    • A:

      No they don’t

  • Q:

"Can I buy an extra bar stool without buying the set of 2? "

    • A:

At this time they are not available for individual purchase.

  • Q:

"What is the comfort level an this item?"

    • A:

I'm not sure of the comfort level because I only use them for staging properties. They are very attractive but very difficult to assemble.

    • A:

The comfort level is moderate. Pros: place to rest feet on the structure, swivel feature, and material is comfortable (over wood I used to have) cons: the back of the stool is very low, so you can not lean back in the chair comfortable.....you have to sit up straight. I would still buy them again... they look great.

    • A:

It is very comfortable and I assembled it myself, Can't beat this value. I like it especially for the design and it matches my kitchen perfectly!

    • A:

This is a well made and durable chair that will be comfortable by most to sit on- as indicated by the good reviews.

    • A:

They squeak after a while. I barely use them but they look good. They just aren’t very sturdy.

    • A:

Comfortable (once you've landed). Like all bar stools, at least for shorter people, one has to learn its trick to boosting oneself up into them depending on the type of base; this one has a sturdy front crossbar for feet and doesn't need to be dragged away from counter's edge. At least with this chair, the fabric helps keep you from constantly sliding down; the arms and swivel make it more functional in our angled situation. A heavy coat of fabric protector sprayed outdoors and left in garage to dry overnight has not yet been seriously tested by spills; I try to remember to move chairs away from island when cooking something risky for them and pay attention when about to set down food/drink near them to avoid "shloshing". Since this kitchen in this newly purchased house looks good, but was poorly constructed, it made sense to buy a less-expensive but sturdy chair until we're ready, or forced, to remodel; so we're quite pleased with these chairs.

  • Q:

    "What is weight limit?"

    • A:

My husband weighs 250 and they support him. I sent mine back because they aren't easy to get in and out of.

    • A:

I wouldn't sit on them if heavier than 300 lbs. they are not made well or made to last. All show. I had to send one back already because the spring was coming out of the seat.

  • Q:

"Are these stools available in a counter height? About 24-26 inches in height."

    • A:

No only 29". After few weeks hearing my husband complaining it is too high for my son I decided to saw it down to 24" so we are all happy now.

    • A:

I cut 4" off the legs - perfect counter height.

    • A:

Still tempted to cut off an inch or so so legs could easily fit completely beneath our island's granite countertop. Waiting for grandchildren to grow a little more...

  • Q:

"I need the seat height? Some here say it is 29.5 and others say 24,what is it? I need 24 in seat height...counter height. Thanks"

    • A:

It is bar height - 29.5 inches. I use it at my counter and it looks great, but adults cannot sit right up next to the island because their knees block the way. My two children can sit very comfortably on it with their legs under the island countertop.

    • A:

If you need a counter height stool you need one that said in the description specifically "counter height". This is a "bar stool" and is 29" height and would not fit your needs.

  • Q:

"Has anyone had any issues with cleaning? I am worried about the light color being stained or made dirty from kids and spills. Has anyone applied any kind of fabric protector?"

    • A:

Yes, after assembly, we applied 1 can of Scotch Guard to both chairs. I don't think cleaning will be anymore difficult then spot cleaning a rug. The actual color is an off white, almost a light beige. The chairs are very nice looking. A bit high with the thick padding, to get in and out of.

  • Q:

    "What color are they?"

    • A:

The color is stayed as beige. I have just bought four of them and I would say they are more of a light ivory.

    • A:

Color is just like the photo. Somewhat like a toasted oatmeal. (off-white) Very elegant!!

    • A:

Yes I would say a very classy linen like off white. The espresso legs go nice with my black snack bar with a light gray pebble granite top in my home theater. Couldn't be happier with these chairs.

  • Q:

"Helol Any way I can change the color of fabric myself? I would like to do an eggplant purple... Suggestions please and appreciated 💛"

    • A:

I wouldn't. The fabric has been installed well and would kind of defeat the purpose of buying a new stool. Maybe find something at a consignment store or yard sale 🤔🙂

  • Q:

"What are the dimensions of the back of this bar stool seat? When you are seated in it where does the back hit on an average person?"

    • A:

From seat up, 11". Back hits just above hips, and below shoulder blades.

  • Q:

"I need counter high stools like these. 23" Are these for bar height? If not wherre do you find these shorter. comments seem to indicte that they ae higher than counter hight."

    • A:

They are bar height, closer to 30". They will be too tall for a counter. You could have the legs cut down by a wood worker.

  • Q:

"Hi, can you please tell me when these chairs will be back in stock? Thx!!"

    • A:

You can have Great Offer Stock email you when they are back in stock. I did that and got an alert 2 weeks after they sold out.

  • Q:

"How many boxes does this item get shipped in? I am driving to pick this item up and I want to make sure it'll fit "

    • A:

If I remember correctly it's one box for 2 stools. It's been almost 2 years though. Worst case you could unbox them and load them in the car.

    • A:

Mine arrived in one large box.

  • Q:

"Is there a way to change the plastic leg tips to rubber? I find the chair slides on the tile when getting on."

    • A:

You can't be talking about the same stools. Mine have wooden legs with a rubber bumper on the bottom which keeps it from sliding.

  • Q:

"Is the color beige as stated, or more of an off white as shown in the picture?"

    • A:

IMO, I would say off white

    • A:

      I would say off white

    • A:

They look maybe just a tad more white in the picture vs in person. I'd say off white. We have Calcutta white countertops and white shaker style cabinets. They definitely are creamier than the rest of the room.

    • A:

Definitely more off white than beige. Beautiful chairs, we are very happy with our purchase!

    • A:

      Yes, off-white/cream.

  • Q:

"How deep is the seat of the bar stool? I see a guys said they were tight on his frame of 250lbs."

    • A:

Yes, we have a table that size and they fit fine because the cushion is nice and firm so they sit high.

    • A:

My daughter uses the chair at breakfast and it fits her just fine, it's rather deep I suppose.

    • A:

      A little snug
