I'm using this in my dining room which is a mix of glam, contemporary, deco and French country styles. Somehow with so much going on this mirror is a perfect fit. I didn't see the flaws other reviewers mentioned so I am very happy with it. The piece does look like it would be more expensive than it was. Very happy!
Just as described, this mirror is a gorgeous piece, not exactly silver and not exactly gold but a glowing metal with lovely filigree. Not overtly screaming "Morocco," it could actually come from a number of countries and fits right in with my global decor. Very happy with this purchase.
I looked at this mirror for a long time. When I finally bought it, I was disappointed with the darker frame and a somewhat awkward shape. Bear in mind that the size does not take into consideration the curved lines, so in reality it is smaller than the stated size. But if you are a perfectionist and are looking for Southern charm or French country style piece. This could work in the right setting. Just pay attention as to where you are going to hang it, so it fills the space properly, given that it is actually smaller and darker in person.
I love this mirror! Very well made and looks perfect on the wall in my french country kitchen. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it only had hardware to hang it vertically. I needed to attach my own hardware to hang it horizontally.
