Nice little accent table. Meant to go against the wall (the back of the tabletop is not beveled). Just a heads-up that although it's obvious the drawer is shallow, it is also rather narrow. The drawer face is 7 inches wider (3.5 inches on each side) than the drawer (it is noted in the dimensions, but I don't know if anyone would even guess that a drawer could be so deceiving). Relatively sturdy for what it is. The only assembly is attaching the legs and resting the shelves atop already-installed thick wire hooks. One of the screws in a leg didn't go all the way in - I screwed it in as far as I could, and because each leg is attached with two screws, it still felt very secure, and you can't see the screw from the outside. The table would be even better if it were a few inches deeper... but I knew the dimensions before I purchased it. It looks nice in my entryway and serves its purpose.

I bought this table for my daughter. They need a very narrow stylish table in their small dining room, to hold mail, paperwork, etc so that they can use their dining rm table to eat at! It is a good quality; she put it together easily. Only issue is that 2 of the legs should have been up against the wall(has grommets to attach to wall to prevent tip-over) BUT those two legs could ONLY be attached in front. The color is ‘chic’, (washed finish) with a cement type color on top. Very attractive.

I imagine that you could but don't know how stable the whole thing would be without the bottom shelf. Would look nice that way though.

You could, but I don't think you'd want to because the legs come with these thick wire hooks already sticking out of them so that the shelving can rest on top of them. When the table is delivered, the hooks are covered with packing material so as not to bump any of the other pieces. So I can't imagine they would be easy (or possible) to remove from the leg.

This stand can be used without the bottom shelf it attaches with screws and can be left off If you want to leave bottom open . Nice piece very pleased . Just beautiful.
