I had my other Mikasa china for so many years and so many I wanted something new and fun to go with my black flatware. Although these are durable and seem made to last, they are not as 'thick' as my others but I love them. Wish they had more serving pieces
This set matches my Mikasa Yardley dinner set which has been discontinued. Just wish I could purchase additional bowels and other pieces.

Great looking and durable China. My only complaint is that Mikasa no longer carries "Pure red" and neihter does OS.com; I'd like to add Coffee Mugs and Cereal Bowls.
