What would have been a great value for the money was needlessly poorly finished. Puddles and voids in the varnish/stain. How this got out of the factory baffles me, unless they all are done this way.

This is a fine table at this price. It arrived quickly in perfect condition; and it was as simple to attach the legs. Using it with a lamp and upholstered ottoman in a walk in closet to add warmth and contrast to the all-white built-ins on one of the walls.

I have looked for over two years for a table to fit in my entry that complements my Asian décor. I was very excited to find this table and after reading the reviews made my purchase. I have to say it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The table was easy to put together, and is beautifully finished. the carving on it is excellent and the stain/color is very nicely applied and very even. The little drawer is a little tricky to open as it does not have a knob, but it works perfectly and my husband really likes the look of it too. You would not go wrong buying this.

I was so impressed when this came that I made my husband come look at it after I put the legs on. (Which was about a 10 minute task!) It's so sturdy and the finish is perfect and the style is amazing! I LOVE IT!!!! Yes, go buy this now if you need a dressing table or a little hall table or a sofa table or anyplace table. I adore it. (Did I mention I LOVE IT?) by the way...it's all solid wood, not mdf or cardboard.

For the price, this is a surprisingly well-built and attractive table. The carving detail and overall finish are very nice, coordinating well with other Asian-origin/Asian-inspired furniture in our family room. The table ships unassembled, but the four legs attach quite easily, which is the only assembly required - easily a one-person job. The included instructions are very simple - pictures only - but you need only match the numbers on the legs to the corresponding numbers on the table top. FYI, you will need a socket or crescent wrench (9/16") to attach/tighten the included nuts (and washers) to the leg bolts. I would buy this table again or gladly recommend to others - with one reservation. The package arrived on a timely basis but looked like it had been shipped by donkey cart and Chinese junk. Although the table was double-boxed, the thin outer cardboard container was one step up from construction paper. The inner box was somewhat more sturdy but not by much. There were several holes/punctures that had gone through both boxes, and both boxes were slightly crushed in a couple more places. Anticipating the worst, I took photos as I unpacked each layer to document any damage to the table. Fortunately, once fully unpacked, I found the table in generally good condition. There was one dent in the front edge of the table top and some scuffing on the front panel. Ironically, neither of these problems seemed to align with the holes or other damaged areas of the boxes, so I must assume this was damage incurred before or during packing. Concerned this suggested that quality control might be a bit of problem and not really eager to box up and return the table on the chance that a replacement would be better, I convinced myself that these were simply "character" marks. Bottom line: This is a very nice table and easily worth the price, which explains the 4 stars, but it could be packaged better. Good luck!

Ordered this piece to set in front of a window to conveniently place bluetooth speaker, cell phone, keys, mail, note pad, etc. It also serves as a beautiful compliment to the room's décor. I am extremely happy with this choice as it is completely as advertised.

This sits in my foyer as a console. I have got compliments from friends for it.

Solid wood, not particle. Asian style was perfect for my decor. The finish is a bit uneven, but that can be attributed the genre too, so can get by. Easy to assemble which is to just attqch the legs. Style is as exactly shown. I am using as a cpmputer/laptop table in living room.
