Color as expected, no strong odors. Has held up well in the last year, but definitely needs a rug pad or it slides all over the wood floors. Good value, but certainly not as high quality as natural fiber rugs I have paid more for in the past.

Added this rug to my dining room and it adds just the right touch to finish off the room. Arrived on time and is the correct size. There was a grassy smell when opened and unrolled but it was pleasant and not overpowering. Have had no issues with unraveling. Great buy for this size rug 8x10.

I have this rug in my living room and under my dining table in our vacation home. I was also concerned about using my Roomba vacuum but i haven't seen evidence of damage. Don't know what will happen in the long term since the Roomba is packed with fibers after sweeping this carpet. Make sure you watch and empty appropriately so the Roomba isn't damaged.

I have a bobSweep, which has a rotating brush underneath, and it pulls fiber tufts up from this carpet. In all honesty, Barbara V., this is a beautiful braided rug but the innocent act of even walking on it causes it to break down at an alarming rate. I would not recommend it if you have pets, kids, heavy shoes, vacuum cleaners, or furniture, or if you are planning on using this in a room that may see a light to moderate amount of traffic.
