Does the job These look good when they are clean but they show finger prints and food really easily. I would not buy them again with kids! They are not comfortable and when they slide on the wood floor they made scratches even though they have rubber on the bottom. Not loving them But they do the trick for the price.

Great value, good looking These stools are easily assembled and beautiful to look at, all at a great price. The lucite will get fingerprints and the base collects dust and dirt, so I wipe them down every couple of weeks with a vinegar based surface cleaner to keep them looking bright and shiny. The backs are as high as what is shown in the picture (contrary to other reviews) and the stools are comfortable. My kids sit in them to do their homework at the kitchen island while I am cooking dinner so I can be nearby to assist. A great bargain.

I'm not aware of any official weight capacity, but the stools are sturdy and stable. They are not easily tipped over as the base is wide. I've had full grown adult men sit on them (around 200 lbs) with no issues.
