It’s major flaw is the fact that the hinges on the inside of the lid don’t lineup and therefore a ventrally pull the screws out of the point where it connects to the base.

I ordered this item to sit at the end of our bed, and it's perfect. It's got adequate storage inside, and the height is perfect for either me or my husband to sit and take off socks or other clothing as needed. I really like the darker grey color -- it happened to match our headboard from another manufacturer, so that was a bonus. Reasonable price and quick shipping. Careful to make sure you have feet in right direction when you install.

Do not recommend
The facbric is velvet like and easily attracts dirt and is difficult to clean. After 6 months of owning this ottoman the screws came loose and both hinges completely came off. I would not recommend this ottoman.
